So I went out of my way to create an alternative Unofficial Spore Forum.
The Unofficial Spore Forums - The Sporum. Any and everyone is welcome as long as you play by the rules. The goal is to make a very friendly familiar forum to use, similar to the Official Spore forums but with lots of updates.

Unnecessary sections were taken away or replaced for example instead of the Developer Corner for the Spore API we replaced it with a Spore modding section to help bring modders and players together!
The old Sporum Profile really didn't give you anything, not even a place where you can post a link to your Sporepdia profile. The New one lets you link all your social media accounts + your Spore Profile. You can also follow, add as friends and create groups!

The Old Sporum mini profile is to the left and the new one is to the right. New features include uploading a profile pic, preferably one of your creations. A Spot where you can link your Sporepedia profile and you can even choose your archetype!

The Sporum rating system is replaced with a like system, in the future I plan to remake the Sporum rating system for the new Sporum.
The new Sporums, of course, have no lag, an easy embed image, and video feature. The new Sporums was highly influenced by the old Sporum to give you the "feeling" of the original Sporums. Your data is handled by the ProBoards team so admins and moderators can't see your data.
So consider creating a new Sporum profile and joining the new Sporums! We'll be hosting Spore contest with real prizes! Prizes like Spore and Spore expansions and more! We hope to see you there!!! You can find us at
